booking
First of all, send us all the details of your group number, chosen activities and date of arrival, then pay the required (10 %) deposit through the completely safe PayPal system. By booking at Hungary Events, it is considered that you and all members of your group accepted all these terms and conditions. (It is your responsibility to give all members of your group a line on the following terms and conditions.) Your contract with us comes into existence when we send you a confirmation e-mail or a check that verifies the receipt of your deposit.
deposit
Payment has to be done by one person, there is no possibility for individual payments. For a valid booking, 10 % of the total cost is required. Please take into consideration that not paying the deposit in time may cause difficulties in organising your chosen itinerary.
final payment
It is your decision to pay the outstanding balance by transferring the money through the PayPal system or paying by cash on arrival. If you choose the second version, it is your responsibility to collect the outstanding balance and give the entire amount in one currency (either GBP or Hungarian Forint) to our representative on the first day of your trip before your first activity. Paying severally is not possible. Please note that if you choose to pay in HUF, all the calculations we make is based on the current exchange rate of the Hungarian National Bank.
pricing
After you booked programmes with us, we calculate a total price for your itinerary that is considered as a final amount that we don’t change, only in case of major currency fluctuations. We reserve the right to make changes in the prices before your reservation is accepted.
changes made by you
Until we confirm your booking you can make any changes free. In case of any changes, we calculate on the current prices that may differ from the originally set amount. Please note that changing in last minute may cause difficulties in organising your itinerary, so if it is necessary, try to change some weeks before your arrival.
cancellation by you
You may cancel your reservation at any time, but after your booking is confirmed you lose your deposit. Cancellations made within three days before or after arrival cause a charge of the total cost. For a valid cancellation the person made the reservation has to send a written message to us.
changes made by us
We reserve the right to change any supplier at any time which has no effect on your chosen itinerary. If a natural disaster, war, civil war, riot (vis maior) etc. occurs after your arrival and it makes impossible to organize the activity, we reserve the right to cancel any programs without refund.
liability
We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees and suppliers except where they lead to death or personal injury. Please note that we accept no responsibility for accidents if any of your group were under the effect of alcohol or drugs at that time when the accident happened. In all cases, you must first seek compensation from the primary supplier (Hotel or Activity provider). Our liability in all cases shall be limited to a maximum of the price of your itinerary arrangements. In some cases persons in your group may have to sign disclaimer forms before commencing certain activities.
